Ahana & Bella

Well, Hello all! Hope 2015 is treating you well!! It’s been good to me so far….I’m not going to start my post with a heap of reason why I was away from the blog for so long. Let’s just say that I was busy…yes let’s leave it at that…:)

Few weeks ago I was introduced to Soch’s “Ahana”and “Bella”collection; one of India’s leading brands for ethnic wear, Soch does not need any introduction. Designed to cater all age groups, the collection includes a wide range of colorful sarees, kurtis and salwar suits in cotton, silk, chiffon and georgette. Subtly elegant with a bit of quirk - is how I would describe the collection. Embroidery at the back of a plain kurti or face-printed kurta, or exquisite gold patterns on a simple cotton saree - these subtle yet distinctive designs make the collection very unique.

A string of gold paisley pattern is all it takes to transform a simple cotton saree to an elegant one, doesn’t it?!!

Disclaimer: I was sent this saree for personal use and review; however the opinions in this post are my own.

Sunny Afternoon

I love clothing pieces, which need minimal accessorizing; and this botanical number is just perfect. The print is so striking that I don’t have to do much to put an outfit together. The downside is that, I feel there are not many ways you can wear such pieces. Stay tuned to see how I wore the same dress differently in my coming post…

It’s been a long, strenuous summer for me; I had to constantly make that extra effort to motivate myself to get things done. Thankfully, I had weekend-beach-dates and one too many lemonades to help me get to the end of it. :)
